Maria Dolores Fernández Martínez

María Dolores Fernández was born in Roquetas de Mar, Spain, in 1994. In 2016, she obtained the B. Sc in Chemistry at the Seville University. In the last year, she completed a computational research project on the analysis of the adsorbate/surface interaction in materials of catalytic interest under the supervision of Prof. Antonio Márquez. In 2017 she obtained the M.Sc. in ''Science and Technology of New Materials'' at Seville University with Prof. Javier Fernández Sanz working on the computational study of the structure and optoelectronic properties of the pyrite/graphene interface. In 2018 she joined the group of Prof. Ernesto Carmona and worked under the supervision of Jesús Campos to develop heterogeneized catalysts from transition metals and cluster chemistry. She joined the group of Prof. Carmen Claver and Cyril Godard in January 2019 as a PhD student, working on the efficient transformation of CO2 into fuels and compounds of high added value through nano-catalysis
