Olivia Benkirane

Olivia Benkirane was born in Lille (France) in 1990. In 2014, she completed her undergraduate studies in chemical engineering at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques (ENSIC, Nancy, France). Later, she worked for one year as a process engineer for AREVA, a multinational group specialized in nuclear and renewable energy. In 2015, she started a PhD project financed by Total at the Rovira I Virgili University under the supervision of Prof. Carmen Claver and Dr. Cyril Godard. Her research interests deal with organometallic chemistry and transition metal nanoparticles for catalytic applications. Her thesis focuses on the application of well defined metal nanoparticles in selective hydrogenation reactions. .
