Anton Cunillera

Anton Cunillera was born in ManresaSpain, in 1990. In 2013, he obtained the B. Sc in Chemistry at the Rovira i VirigiliUniversity. In the last year, he completed a research project on the study and preparation of acid organic solutions through electrochemical oxidation under the supervision of Prof. Ulrich Nickel at the Friedrich-AlexanderUniversity in Erlangen, in Germany, within an Erasmus framework. Once he completed the project, he kept working in the same group continuing his work in different electrochemical processes. On his return, he obtained the MSc in "Synthesis, Catalysis and Molecular Design" at the Rovira i VirgiliUniversity, in which he carried out a project on the synthesis of supported catalysts under the supervision of Dr. Cyril Godard and Prof. Carmen Claver. In September 2014 he has initiated his PhD thesis in the same research group focusing on the design and synthesis of immobilized catalysts onto carbon supports and their application in catalytic reactions.
