Isabel Vicente

Isabel Vicente was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1981. In 2011 she was awarded a PhD with Outstanding PhD Thesis distinction under supervision of Dr Pilar Salagre and Prof Yolanda Cesteros at the University Rovira i Virgili (URV). Later she worked internationally in relevant research projects on nanomaterials and catalysis funded by governments and industrial partners: Shayonano Ltd., (Singapore), UFRGS-Petrobras (Brazil), CTQC (Spain) and University of Nottingham (UK). Currently, her interests deal with the synthesis of nanomaterials using green approaches and application in catalysis for added value chemicals from CO2 and renewable or waste sources.
